The Akorel can blend one or two quality sands within the desired grain size range by classifying the input into eight to 16 individual grain size fractions via a user-programmable control unit.
The classifier then electronically controls the blending of individual fractions to achieve the required particle size distribution for two controlled sand products. Surplus sand fractions are discharged as uncontrolled sand.
By modifying the program’s settings, the output can easily be adapted to produce customised sand blend “recipes” and to meet industrial sand standards at any time.
The required grading curves are entered into the computer at the control panel and sand blend recipes can also be stored and recalled.
