The Super Grid helps quarry operators size large rocks before they are caught in the crusher feed, which could result in costly machinery downtime.
The unit’s unique design is self-cleaning and easy to move around site. The grid’s standard spacing is a nominal 200mm but the aperture can be altered within a matter of hours for differing applications without having to rebuild the whole grid. The maximum spacing is approximately 400mm.
The Super Grid can be used in conjunction with the full range of Sandvik tracked scalpers and is ideal for use with small primary crushers.
It is best suited to Caterpillar 966/980 or equivalent loaders but Precisionscreen also offers a smaller unit that suits Caterpillar 950 or equivalent loaders.
