Powered by a 96kW Caterpillar C4.4 diesel engine, the SQ1862 incorporates a 5m x 2m (18’ x 6’) dual-deck, vibrating screen which can accept both steel wire and rubber cross-tensioned meshes.
The SQ1862’s feed hopper has a 9m3 capacity and a hydraulic, tipping grizzly, making it suitable for achieving maximum production. It employs a 1200mm wide, four-ply belt for the belt feeder, a 1200mm three-ply belt for the screen feed conveyor, a 1500mm three-ply belt for the forward product conveyor, and 900mm three-ply belts for its side discharge conveyors.
The SQ1862 is also fitted with a heavy-duty steel track frame and, as with all plant in Striker’s screen range, it is easily set up and can be linked to other Striker machines for easy operation and increased production with less downtime.
