The newest addition to Bonfiglioli Transmission Australia’s distribution network is CBC Australia, one of the largest suppliers of bearings, power transmission and engineered solutions in the country.
The company will be distributing various Bonfiglioli products, including the A, C, F and S helical gear motors, the 300 planetary gear motor series, and the HDO, HDP and HDX heavy-duty bevel helical gearboxes, which can be paired with high-powered drives such as those used for quarry conveyors.
Bonfiglioli managing director Malcolm Lewis said CBC added a “new dimension” to its established network, adding that with more than 450 staff, 60 branches and over 100 channel partners, the company was “more than equipped” to help Bonfiglioli achieve its expansion objectives.
“Our ongoing investment in local stock, specialist assembly equipment and the engineering expertise of our local staff has continued unabated in recent years, enabling us to build bevel helical units locally up to 500kW,” he said.
Lewis also noted that CBC’s emphasis on in-depth service and customer service complemented Bonfigioli’s local engineering expertise and excellent inventory.
