New range of tracked mobiles debuts in the Australian market

The LT1000 series was designed, engineered and manufactured in Metso’s newest facility in Alwar, India. This facility is managed by Metso staff to the same high quality standards as its other facilities globally.

Customised for rugged conditions, the Lokotrack LT1000 series crushing and screening plants are based on the bestselling LT and ST Lokotrack plants. Thanks to their simple maintenance and operator-friendly layout, any one of the LT1000 models would fit effortlessly into any rental fleet.

These new offerings from Metso have already been tried and tested in Zambia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia to name but a few countries, with outstanding results.

While offering the standard Lokotrack specification, providing a lower initial cost price, the LT1000 series also features the same high capacity, safety and reliability that is synonymous with the Lokotrack name.

The LT1000 series is a combination of hardcore engineering and reliable components from market leading brands such as Cummins, Bosch, Rexroth, Sauer Danfoss and Wurth, among others. A powerful Cummins engine adds to their reliability and performance. The long-lasting strength of the C106 jaw crusher, GP11 cone crusher and 1.5m x 3.5m efficient screen box also add value to these units.

Efficiency is improved by using mechanical drives, without compromising on capacity. Different types of liners are available for both the jaw and cone crushers, to tailor the plants to a vast range of applications.

SEAMLESS INTEGRATION

The LT1000 series crushing and screening plants are so flexible they can seamlessly integrate into most crushing and recycling operations. They offer short set-up time and, with maximum availability and reliability, the equipment has a high crushing and screening capacity.

With the advantage of single operator management, the LT1000 series is ideal for customers who want a quick start to their operation.

LT1000 units have been engineered for durability and are easy to operate, and are designed to withstand the most arduous operating conditions. Simplified hydraulics and electrics also make these latest offerings the most operator friendly machines in their category.

The LTC1000 is fitted with the popular C106 jaw from Metso’s C series range of single toggle jaws.

The Nordberg C106 is specially designed for mobile applications, and one of its important features is a long and very efficiently directed stroke. Many features of the C106 have been copied from larger C jaw models. The C106’s standard features include a protection plate behind the jaw dies, a bolted frame and replaceable tow wedges, which guarantee the mobile jaw is easy and economical to maintain over the long lifetime of the crusher. Special tools for safe and easy operation and maintenance, such as lifting tools for jaw dies, cheek plates and toggle plates, are part of the standard scope of supply.

INNOVATIVE CONE

At the heart of the LTG1000 mobile cone crusher, a member of the Metso GP family, is the GP11F cone crusher. Its robust design enables high power levels and high productivity. The proven design and use of high quality components with optimised wear parts keep operating costs down.

As with all GP cone crushers, the GP11F does not require backing compound for liner fixing. This makes liner changes quick, easy and cost-effective, while giving the customer more availability. The cone can be disassembled from above and all heavy components can be lifted upwards, making maintenance and service easy and safe.

Several stroke options allow the GP11F to maintain maximum crushing efficiency in varying crushing applications. The choke feed arrangement is set by simply choosing the correct stroke for the cone crusher to achieve the most efficient crushing action.

The Lokotrack LTS1000 mobile screen is built around the high capacity 1.5m x 3.5m two-bearing, two-deck screen box.

The top and bottom decks are end-tensioned, making screen changes easier and safer, while improving the unit’s availability. Also, the meshes are interchangeable, which will reduce stockholding. The high capacity screen has a 9mm aggressive circular stroke, which generates up to 5G, allowing for greater efficiency no matter what angle the screen is adjusted to. The Lokotrack LTS1000 builds on more than 25 years of experience in mobile equipment and is designed to cut operating costs while generating the highest customer value possible.

Today’s Australian mining, quarrying and construction projects demand innovative solutions to meet technological, quantity, quality and delivery requirements.

The LT1000 series is a combination of best-in-class product quality and engineering that meets challenging working conditions and offers real value for money.

Metso’s new models promise low noise levels, while offering the best fuel efficiency.

The LT1000 series is backed by Metso and Tutt Bryant’s proven service network, which can support operations even in the most remote locations in Australia. With easy access to service points and full support from each Tutt Bryant branch for a lifetime, the LT1000 series crushing and screening plants have been built to perform consistently.

Tutt Bryant Equipment’s experienced and factory-trained technicians can carry out the full range of repairs on-site with fully equipped service units, anywhere in Australia.

In late February a product release day for the Lokotrack LT1000 series will be held near Melbourne, where the machinery will be commissioned and run to give a realistic view of the operational units.

Metso will provide factory staff and the Tutt Bryant Metso team will answer questions from customers on the day.
