Under the “Choiceplus program”, all customers that order a new Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) excavator from now until 31 December, 2014 will be able to choose one of the following five rewards:
- 12 months of free servicing.
- A free four-year powertrain warranty.
- 3.99 per cent interest on finance.
- Three months without lease payments.
- A trip to visit the company’s wheel loader and excavator factories in Japan.
Gilberto Pauleta, director of construction, forestry and mining sales for HCA, said the program aimed to deliver even more value beyond the productivity and efficiency that comes with the company’s excavator.
“Hitachi is well known as a premium brand. We’re focused on delivering excellent value and return on investment,” Pauleta said. “I think contractors who take a look at what they get when they choose Hitachi will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and the price, and we’re excited to launch Choiceplus to allow customers to choose the additional rewards that suit them best.”
The program applies to purchases of all excavators in the HCA range, from the eight-tonne ZX85 to the 82-tonne ZX870.
“This isn’t a run out sale,” Pauleta emphasised. “It covers our full range of excavators in our current line up and is about delivering added value and thanking our customers for choosing Hitachi.”
Pauleta described the rewards as having “real value”, stating that the free service offer was worth “between $4000 and $12,000, depending on the size of the machine”, the interest rate offer – which includes fixed rates for five years – is worth approximately 3.5 per cent of the machine’s capital cost, and that the option not to make lease payments for the first three months would be ideal for customers seeking to maximise their cash flow.
“Our standard powertrain warranty is 36 months so the Choiceplus option is a significant step up for those customers interested in the extra peace of mind that comes from an extended warranty,” Pauleta explained. “As for the exclusive factory trip, we think that this will be a real eye opener for those who have not previously been to our factories,” he added.
However, according to Pauleta, the greatest reward is “having an advanced, productive, reliable machine with a strong support network around Australia”.
“Choiceplus is a great way to make your investment go even further, so it’s an ideal time for contractors to think about upgrading or expanding their fleet,” Pauleta said.
HCA is the exclusive distributor of Hitachi, Bell and John Deere equipment in Australia and services the quarry, mining and construction industries.
