Astec Australia’s combo screen fits comfortably into many common horizontal screen footprints – from 1830mm x 6090mm up to 2440mm x 6090mm – and is available in both two- and three-deck configurations.
The combo screen is said to be able to improve production capacity by up to 25 per cent when compared to an equivalent sized horizontal screen. The screen achieves this by rapidly separating fine material particles in the sloped feed zone. Screening efficiency is further increased through the deceleration of the finer material as it moves over the horizontal discharge zone.
Additionally, the combo screen features hinged tailgates for ease of maintenance and offers the safety benefits of working on a level platform.
