Metso three times a winner at design awards

Metso?s Lokotrack LT106 mobile crushing plant for crushing hard rock and recycled materials, its MR biomass moisture analyser and the EtaCut II and EtaShred ZZ concepts were winners in the 2014 awards. 
The jury in one of the world?s top product design competitions recognised Metso?s products for their design quality, degree of innovation, environmental impact, functionality, safety and branding.
This year?s iF design competition had more than 3200 entries in 17 categories for product design. The awards were presented in Germany. 
The Metso Lokotrack was also an award winner in the Fennia Prize design competition.
The Metso MR Moisture biomass moisture analyser is the first industrial moisture measurement application using magnetic resonance phenomenon. 
Metso?s EtaCut II scrap shear for crushing heavy mixed and demolition scrap and the
EtaShred ZZ shredder are based on a globally applicable operating concept and product structure, offering increased processing flexibility and low specific power consumption. 
The concept features a re-engineered design and an innovative control interface and was developed with the German Institute for Integrated Design.
With a 60-year history, the iF design awards are regarded as one of the most important product design competitions worldwide. The awards mirror current trends and point to economic benefits delivered by well designed products.
