VSI plant added to modular crushing solutions

The MV2000 modular vertical shaft impactor (VSI) joins other units in Terex MPS?s modular range, including the MC1000 and MC1300 cones, the MJ42 jaw, the MHS6203 horizontal screen and the MSF24 surge hopper. In turn, these modules are offered as part of Terex MPS?s System 300 modular package.
The MV2000 features a Terex Canica VSI2000SD single drive VSI. The 11-tonne VSI has a maximum 38mm feed size and  throughput of 190 tph. Its rock on rock crushing chamber can handle all rock types including high abrasive materials and  produces highly cubical products in small sizes while eliminating soft material.
The VSI is mounted on a heavy-duty three-bearing pedestal with Astralloy main shaft. The module also features a feed hopper with rock shelf and deflector plate, an externally adjustable feed tube system, a cast feed tube, lid and mainframe liners and a cast lined flywheel.
There is also a Hydralid lifter and lid swing, coupled with open lid safety lock, for maintenance and inspections access. The MV2000 VSI is powered by a 224kW standard electric motor and features in-built shut-off switches which can detect low oil flow, excessive vibration and an open lid.
Like Terex MPS?s other modular products, the MV2000 VSI module can be assembled on-site and in quick time. It has a pre-wired ?plug and play? design and a robust, user-friendly control panel. The galvanised steel structure comprises walkways, steps and guard rails and repositional bracing permits two locations for the discharge conveyor.
All the MV2000 VSI components can be transported in one 12m container. The total module weight after assembly is 21 tonnes.
