La Trobe Valley to get boost from OEM

Komatsu?s new premises are at 55 Tramway Road, Morwell between the Princes Highway and Princes Drive. They will include plenty of room to display new and used Komatsu equipment.
There will also be improved parts storage to service the company?s growing customer base throughout the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland.
The new facility has a large office space, 350 square metres of warehouse space and 650 square metres in the service workshop which houses a five tonne overhead crane.

?Komatsu has had a presence in the Latrobe Valley for a long time,? Komatsu Morwell?s branch manager Paul Kneebone explained, ?but this has always been within a customer?s site at the Loy Yang mine and power station.?

Kneebone added that Komatsu has traditionally had ?a strong and growing market share in the Valley, and having our own standalone premises will give us increased visibility to customers and allow us to better meet their service and support needs?.
