Minroc is a distributor of the Nirox trommel brand, a range of machines designed to process and clean large size stone at high volumes with maximum uptime.
When Exact Mining Services was looking for a new trommel to work on its project at Groote Eylandt, the largest island in the Gulf of Carpentaria, located about 630km from Darwin, its first and only consideration was to contact Minroc to arrange for a Nirox trommel on a hire/buy arrangement.
?We were pleased to find Minroc offering the hire/buy arrangement so we could determine if the trommel is the right tool for the application it is being used for prior to capital purchase,? said Shaun Machos of Exact Mining Services. ?This has created a minimal risk situation for us and we are looking forward to testing the equipment on-site when it arrives.?
Having seen the Nirox TRG 403 trommel in action, Exact Mining Services knew exactly what it was after, and the Nirox satisfied all of the company?s requirements. Minroc?s innovative equipment and hire/buy offering has made the inclusion of this machine into the project a simple process.
The Australian owned and Queensland based Minroc is no stranger to installing customised trommel plants. Its Nirox RG 902 played a key part in the construction of the artificial archipelago of the Palm Islands, off Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and another of its customised Nirox trommels is currently being used in the Shell Cove boat harbour redevelopment on the New South Wales south coast.
