Customers want accurate and consistent material separation with lower operational cost, so Metso took its modular MV vibrator and integrated it into a new design. Two unbalanced shaft lines in the Metso ES rotate in opposite directions, generating a high energy elliptical motion with a self-synchronisation design.
As the Metso ES has up to 50 per cent more space between the decks, compared to similar flat screens, it has safer access for maintenance. It is also equipped with coil spring covers to minimise the risk of pinching accidents, rubber stabilisers, high safety belt guards, a centralised greasing manifold and gearless mechanism to reduce noise.
The feedbox, discharge spout and cardan shafts are also fitted with Metso?s Trelex modular wear and impact resistance rubber linings as standard protection.
