Electronic weighing systems aid major equipment suppliers

Atlas? weighing systems are manufactured in Sydney, with the Compuload III series weighing system first being sold in May 1989. Quite a few of these devices continue to operate today after 23 years of faithful service.

The current series Compuload 3000 and Compuload 4000 have been available since 1996. The basic style has remained unchanged but the internal components and software have undergone complete improvements many times. The current series has undergone testing by the
National Measurement Institute and has obtained approval for use as a ?trade approved? instrument.

The list of users of the Compuload 3000 and Compuload 4000 is impressive. It features all the major equipment suppliers including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Kawasaki, Case, Hitachi and Liebherr, to name a few. It also includes many councils and mines together with major material suppliers.

The Compuload 3000 and Compuload 4000 weigh the load dynamically. Both models run the Compuload 4060 data printer. The difference between the 3000 and the 4000 is that the 4000 has provision to enter data such as customer, product and truck number.

This data, together with the weight date and time, is stored into memory with each load and can be printed out with the Compuload 4060 printer or downloaded to a PC via the Compuload USB Downloader at any time.
