More purchases on FLSmidth agenda

The technologies and products acquired will enable FLSmidth to offer and supply complete, unmanned integrated bulk handling solutions to mining, stockyard and port facility customers.

The application of unmanned operation will support FLSmidth’s customers’ continued focus on higher efficiency, improved safety and maintenance, higher yield as well as cost savings. The technologies and products will be integrated into FLSmidth’s operations in close co-ordination with iSAM AG to ensure undisrupted service of the markets.

“These well-proven technologies can be used worldwide within bulk materials and will strengthen FLSmidth’s offerings to its customers,” Group CEO J?rgen Huno Rasmussen declared. ?The trend is moving towards unmanned operation and the technology can be easily integrated with FLSmidth’s current business.”

Just last month FLSmidth was confirmed as purchasing two Australian companies MIE Enterprises and Mayer Bulk. Both provide construction, commissioning and maintenance and repair services.

Earlier this year, the company purchased Ludowici, the Australian supplier of vibrating screens.
