Mobile screens, crushers add extra arrow to driller?s bow

The company?s expansion into these areas follows the acquisition of Austrian manufacturer Hartl Anlagenbau together with its range of Powercrusher products.

These products – now marketed as Atlas Copco Powercrusher – are recognised worldwide for their advanced technical concepts, high quality and reliability. As a result, contractors will not only find it easier and more cost-effective to source a complete package of equipment from Atlas Copco, they now also have the opportunity to co-ordinate service and maintenance across the entire equipment fleet.

Hartl Anlagenbau – now Atlas Copco Powercrusher – has had a long and successful history in the stone crushing business. Founded in 1925, it has been producing crushers and screens since the 1980s. Through application know-how and technical innovation, the company has built up a global position in crushing and screening technology and produces some 400 units per year at its plant in St Valentin, Austria.

These machines offer added value to many different types of companies working in a variety of applications such as demolition, concrete recycling and aggregate processing.

EXTENSIVE RANGE

The Powercrusher product range includes track-mounted jaw crushers, impact crushers, cone crushers and screeners with capacities ranging from 200 to 500 tonnes per hour for crushers and 200 to 600 tph for screens.

The screens are compact, highly efficient units, making them perfect for quarries. They can be used in combination with crushing plants or fed independently by a loader. They are available with a vibrating grid which allows for an additional fraction by means of an extra mesh situated under the heavy duty reject grid.

The portable screening units available from Atlas Copco Powercrusher include the HCS 3715, HCS 5515, HCS 3D, the HCS Grizzly and HS 1.

SERVICE AND FINANCING
In addition to these top of the line products, Atlas Copco also supplies a high quality service package to ensure consistent, optimal performance. This is provided through CRUSH Care, an optional package that includes scheduled inspections and service along with an extended warranty and even ProCom satellite monitoring.

It means that wherever in the world the equipment is to be put to work, owners can rest assured that their crushers and screeners will be regularly and properly serviced during the first 5000 engine hours, or first four years of operation.

An added bonus is that prospective crusher and screen buyers can now also take advantage of Atlas Copco?s unique financing service, provided by the company?s own financing company, Atlas Copco Customer Finance. With its extensive international experience, Atlas Copco Customer Finance helps contractors to find the most suitable financing options for the equipment they need. A wide range of solutions are on offer including leasing, hire purchase, supplier credit and various types of project financing.
