So it?s when companies like Compressed Air and Power Solutions (CAPS) joins in with its local community that we should be taking notice.
At Nobby?s Beach in Newcastle, the charity surfing day for autistic children was helped by CAPS? donation of a diesel generator and the assistance of CAPS Tomago office staff.
The generator kept the ice cream, lights and PA system working while the staff helped with more than 200 children and young adults who have autism and other developmental delays.
The event was the Hunter Connect and Surfers for Autism Beach Festival 2012 where expert instructors provide basic surfing tuition in a safe environment.
?We want families affected by autism to experience the love and acceptance of Newcastle?s surfing and business communities through this extraordinary event,? said Sam Hays, president and co-founder of Hunter Connect.
