Deister heavy-duty horizontal screen

Billed as ?highly portable?, the Deister portable heavy-duty horizontal screening plant with feed conveyor comes in 6? x 20? and 8? x 20? models.

Using a triple-shaft vibrating screen, the unit is designed for use with crushed stone, sand and gravel, or in concrete and asphalt recycling.

Deister has developed a range of novel features for the new mobile plant, including walking beam tandem-axle suspension, access ladders and walkways on both sides and front of the screen with hydraulic folding on one side, centralized grease points, chutes and hoppers lined or made from AR 400 plate, a 60? undersize conveyor below the 6? x 20? screen, 30? motorised head pulley cross conveyors, and self-cleaning, wing-type tail pulleys.

A number of optional extras are also available for the plant, such as a four-leg hydraulic levelling package, six or eight levelling and run-on cylinders powered by a Honda engine and spring-loaded belt scrapers.

Deister Machine Company was established in Fort Worth in 1912, where it remains today. It was one of the first companies to develop vibrating screens in the 1920s.
