Las Vegas unveils sandbox, stress relief for adults

However, the newly opened Dig is set to change that, offering a literal sandbox for grown-ups. For $US750, patrons can now get a 10 minute lesson on how to operate machines like excavators and bulldozers, and can go wild pushing around as much sand, dirt and tyres as they can handle. Trainers give guidance over headsets as well.

Creator Ed Mumm, who thought of the idea while building his own house in Colorado, says that it?s a good stress reliever.

?People come here and they forget about all the stresses in their lives because the fact is they have to focus on that piece of equipment. When they get in there and they rev up that engine, they know they have a serious program on their hands.?

It is not clear if ?all the stresses? Ed Mumm was referring to in his clients and customers was somehow linked to their gambling habits at reputable and irreputable establishments in and around Las Vegas.
