F series loaders boost fuel economy, performance

The new F series wheel loaders have evolved from the E series range, with features that increase efficiency and operator comfort.

?The new F series provide faster acceleration, quicker cycle times and higher travel speeds while delivering a 10 per cent increase in fuel efficiency,? said Kevin. ?They can perform in a wide range of applications from construction sites and landfills to quarry and aggregate operations.?

The new models include the 721F and the 821F, which replace their E series counterparts. The new 921F is an all-new model in the 20-tonne category and does not directly replace the 921E. Two larger models will be released later in the year.

?The 921F launches a new class size for Case at 20 tonnes. It provides more net horsepower plus greater tipping load weight and bucket breakout force, making it ideal for high production applications,? said Kevin.

?It retains all the E series? great features but with improvements that deliver real savings that relate directly to your bottom line.?

{{image2-a:R-w:300}} New features in the F series include a new dual-mode shutdown capability that maximises fuel economy and monitors vital engine components. Using the fuel-saver mode, the operator can limit the machine?s idle time. The desired shutdown time can be set in five minute increments.

The 721F and 821F also include standard limited-slip front and rear axles that provide traction in all conditions, especially in non-compacted surfaces. The 921F features heavy-duty axles with Automatic Hydraulic Diff Lock on the front axle, making it suited to applications in tight areas or where solid fill tyres are needed.

The standard four-speed transmission with manual kick-down provides maximum traction and increased bucket penetration.

The cab offers an unobstructed view to both edges of the bucket or attachment, while a wide window and sloping hood provide clear vision to the rear.

A new rear-view, wide-angle camera with an adjustable colour monitor is available in the F series. The camera option nearly eliminates blind spots and is ideal for jobs that require operating around other machines or workers.

?At a busy worksite, it?s important to have a machine with excellent visibility to all corners of the vehicle,? said Kevin. ?The F series offer best-in-class rear visibility and a panoramic view to the front and sides for enhanced operator confidence and productivity.?

As in previous models, the Case F series wheel loaders include an advanced instrument cluster to enable operators to adjust various functions without relying on a service technician. The F series models also offer ergonomically placed controls and a new heated cloth seat with seven adjustment modes.

The 721F, 821F and 921F wheel loaders are all available now.
