K Series wheel loader on the market

Serious productivity demands serious thinking. The new John Deere K Series wheel loader features improvements from the brightest minds in the industry, wheel loader owners and users. Based on fresh insights from this customer group, the K Series has an enlarged cab, redesigned cooling system and enhanced hydraulics and refined ergonomics, aimed at increasing productivity and uptime while lowering daily operating costs.

Operators should be more productive in the high back air-ride seat of a K Series loader. Upfront, an enhanced multi-function monitor displays operating, diagnostic and maintenance information on a colour LCD screen with easy on the eyes clarity. Ten per cent more tinted glass and a low profile console allow for a commanding view of the work ahead. The quieter cab boasts more legroom and improved ergonomics, including a reshaped front console and seat-mounted loader controls. An expanded sealed switch module with keyless start and easy push button operation results in productivity without extra effort.

This machine offers productivity, long term durability and versatility in a wheel loader.

The K Series features:
? John Deere-built Tier 3 emission-certified PowerTech diesel engines.
? Torque reserves, topping 59 per cent in the 824K, which maintain good boom and bucket speed in and out of the pile and is useful for heaped loads, even in wet or hard-packed material.
? A low centre of gravity and optimised fore-and-aft balance.
? Powertrain and hydraulic performance, which maintains quick ground speed and boom lift, even on steep ramps.
? Same-side ground-level service access and fuel fill.
? Hydraulic levers, which are within easy reach and move with the operator for more control with less fatigue.
? Brake and throttle pedals, which have been repositioned.
? Automotive directional louvers, providing effective airflow to keep the glass clear and pressurised cab comfortable.
? A 12-volt port, which powers mobile phones and other electronic devices.
