Quarrying women look "Beyond The Bench" to the future

The Boral-sponsored Queensland Women in Quarrying (WIQ) annual conference was held at Glen Hotel, Eight Mile Plains, on 22 March. About 100 delegates from Queensland and interstate attended. With an overriding theme of “Beyond the bench”, the conference provided an overview of industry developments, with one eye on the future and a consideration of the social licences within which quarries operate.
